Hydraulic Operated Reeler
Lift Capacity:
6,600 Lbs. with 700 feet of hose bundle on drum.
Cable Capacity:
700 Ft. of 4” diameter hose bundle.
The spooler unit will be comprised of a hydraulic motor and gear reducer drive with a Wave Gear final reduction.
The unit will have a removable drum for quick change of the spool if required. The unit will include a lever operated control valve mounted on the drive side. The unit will be capable of holding a 700 Ft. of 4’ diameter hose bundle. See drawing for overall dimensions.
Reel Support:
The spool is supported by a shaft which goes through it and has split housing bronze bearings to allow the top half to be unbolted and removed for ease of changing out. The spool shaft has a drive plate which does not require any disconnection from the drive system and allows ease of changing as the final drive reduction does not have to be removed to change the spool. The frame base will be constructed of structural steel.
There is a disc brake which is spring set / pressure release operated automatically with the control valve operation in either direction.
The hydraulic supply required is 8 GPM at 2000 psi.
